In my haste to post I forgot to mention the surprise our Parish Priest had for the children receiving their First Communion. At the end of Mass, he presented each child with a brown scapular. He explained the scapular and blessed them. He said that many years ago children received them on their First Communion day. I did not know this and I loved to learn something new!
Our Parish Priest is such a wonderful example for us in leading people to Christ. :)
