Father,
I abandon myself into your hands;do with me what you will.Whatever you may do, I thank you:I am ready for all, I accept all.Let only your will be done in me,and in all your creatures--I wish no more than this, O Lord.Into your hands I commend my soul:I offer it to you with all the love of my heart, for I love you, Lord, and so need to give myself,to surrender myself into your hands without reserve, and with boundless confidence, for you are my Father.
Amen.

May Crowning

Tomorrow is our school's May Crowning! The children have been practicing their special songs all week. Our Principal plays the songs over the speaker at the end of the day and the children all practice together...all eleven classes! We have requested that all children wear blue or white tomorrow. I will try to remember to take my camera so that I can post some pics tomorrow.

Divine Mercy Sunday

Please.. on this Divine Mercy Sunday, click on the link to the right on FOCA (Freedom of Choice Act)

We really need to pray. We need God's Divine Mercy.

This is a link to our parish bulletin. Our Parish Priest wrote a fantastic letter to his parishioners this weekend. His letter begins on page 5. Please take the time to read it...

I wish I could have a copy of his Homily from today to share with you. He is an awesome speaker and we are so very blessed to have him at our Parish.

Two prayer requests...

Rachel and Mason (yes, I said Nathan before but I misunderstood the name ...God understands and he knows who you were praying for...THANK YOU! Rachel is 10 yrs. and Mason is 2 yrs. Here is a quick update on Mason: His first spinal tap didn't give sufficient fluid so they need to do another one. They were not able to determine which type of lukemia he has...of the two they are suspecting, one is worse so keep praying please. He will be in the hospital for 5 more days down in Florida. When I hear more from my friend (Mason's aunt) I will write. If they begin CaringBridge, I will supply a link here.

Give to our Father everything...offer Him all that you have. Allow for Him to use you and your life so that others come to know Him too. Shine for Him.

More prayers please, my dear readers!

I just got off of the phone with my dear friend and co-teacher. I could tell by the sound of her voice that something was not right. She had just gotten off of the phone with her mom. Her little 2 year old nephew went into the doctor this morning with reoccuring fevers...he is now in the hospital with Lukemia. They are not sure which type at this time. He is going to get a spinal tap tomorrow and then they will know more. She asked me for prayers...I am turning to you to help me. His name is Nathan.
You have been there with me in praying for Rachel, now please add Nathan to your prayers as well.
When I hear things like this...I get "numb". That is the only way to try to describe it. Shock? maybe?
Thank you...in advance. I know that your prayers will join with mine for these beautiful children.

Thank you for praying with me!

I wanted to be sure to post a thank you. I am so thankful for all of the prayers that you, dear reader, have prayed! So many times I am overwhelmed by all of the children and parents and circumstances that urgently need our many prayers.

I am not sure what has been going on with me. This year, Lent has proven to be so different for me. I am 45 years old and have never really experienced anything like what I am experiencing now. I'm not even sure how to explain it...at least without sounding--I guess sad and perhaps a bit disconnected. Maybe like I'm in a desert right now...
I'm not talking about the season of Lent here...maybe it's impossible to explain. It's just me and I know if I cling to my Savior's hand, He will guide me back to Him. A bit disjointed maybe?

And on another note...I was given beautiful advice by our awesome Parish Priest on helping a little one in my class that needs prayers. He suggested that I seek out a Saint and ask for his/her intercessions for the student. I have decided to pray that St. Joseph intercede for him. He had a pretty bad week last week...I hugged him and gave him a little statue of St. Joseph. Keep praying please!

Oh my, I almost forgot! I introduced all 37 fourth graders to Divine Mercy on Friday! I bought a DVD to use with children...can't remember the exact name now, but I'll give the title in a future post. We ended Friday with a chaplet...absolutely awesome experience! These children are so beautiful! They hunger for Jesus!
Thank you God for placing me in the classroom with these beautiful children! Keep me strong and continue to guide me along the way!
And again...
Jesus, I trust in You!
