I am happily married 25 years this year! We have six beautiful children and Baby Michael in Heaven.

Good Friday and the Beginning of the Divine Mercy Novena
I had a beautiful experience at Good Friday Service today.
It started as I walked with my family down the right side aisle of the Church. As I was walking down toward the front pews, I looked up at the altar and the covered Crucifix. The Tabernacle was open and empty. The candles were gone. There were no flowers and the plants were gone. The altar was bare and dark.
I leaned over to my 11 year old and asked her what her thoughts were after looking at the Altar area and she said, "It is all empty, mom. Jesus is gone."
The service was amazing. I didn't expect for every pew to be so filled that Father would have to ask everyone to move to the center of the pew so that everyone would be able to fit. That in itself was an uplifting experience.
